Dr Fred "Chocka" Bloch was dedicated to the Economics Dept at the University of Adelaide and the Adelaide University Football Club "The Blacks". He was the inaugural "Hall of Famer" for service and his style was inclusive and fun. Everyone was equal and everyone had something to offer. He enriched the lives of thousands over his 40 years with the Blacks. This scholarship will be offered to a student to offset academic costs and provide a high performance pathway to become an elite athlete on the field. Chocka gave real opportunities to many as this scholarship will into the future!
