Basketball Victoria Wheelchair Program

Raised

$101.00

Goal

$20,000.00

Help Basketball Victoria deliver the numerous entry level programs, strategies and clear, integrated pathways that engage and develop players, coaches, officials, administrators and volunteers across the wheelchair basketball system.

Opportunities are available for all people to engage with this part of our sport, particularly those with:

• childhood-onset physical disabilities

• spinal cord injury (SCI)

• secondary physical disabilities

• physical impairment that is not traditionally seen as ‘disabled’ (e.g. chronic conditions that prevent people from participating in their chosen sport).

Basketball Victoria has ongoing, sustainable Wheelchair Basketball

programs across the state. Opportunities range from come-and-try days, local

competitions to representative duties in the Victorian teams at Wheelchair Basketball National Championships and the National League.
