The club is working with the City of Ballarat on the planned replace of the current practice nets, anticipated to occur during the 2024-25 season (eg Oct 2024 – March 2025).

We are asking council to include in the design power points for use by our ball machines, and appropriate lighting so that we can safely use the nets during the darker pre-season and beginning of the season periods.

We are also asking that the design allows for the future installation of a roof over the practice nets, further increasing the utility of the practice nets throughout the year and during wet weather

Should the location of the new practice nets be distant from our current storage facilities, that the design includes installation of a small facility for the onsite storage training equipment.

We are also planning to purchase addition training equipment, in particular ball machines suitable for setup and usage by junior and younger adult players.

We are seeking to raise $10,000 funds to contribute to this practice nets upgrade project and the purchase of training equipment to support the continued growth of our club.
