Canberra Rowing Club was founded in 1964 with the aim to create an environment that supports an active, inclusive community of rowers at all levels of participation and competition.
From humble beginnings, CRC has set out to be recognised as a leading community rowing club in Australia in terms of support, participation and performance across a diverse group of rowers. CRC members value trust, respect and fairness and support a healthy, safe, welcoming, inclusive and nurturing club environment whilst also fostering a performance based culture in relation to club goals and objectives, coupled with a strong work ethic and accountability in all we do.
Over the course of its rich history, CRC has produced members who are leaders in the sport from administration, to coaching, including members who have represented Australia on the National, World and Olympic stage.
Importantly, as we celebrate and enjoy our successes as one of Canberra’s leading rowing clubs, we look to our future and our vision to be the leading community rowing club in Australia. And to get there, we need your help.
The Canberra Rowing Club Foundation was set up to support the ongoing needs of the club and the local rowing community by enabling club members and supporters to make tax deductible donations towards the improvement of all elements of the club and its facilities.
Specifically, donations to the Canberra Rowing Club Foundation will support the costs associates with providing members and the community with access to leading facilities, equipment, training and coaching and will assist the club with costs associated with local and interstate regatta competition.
We are seeking your support to bring our vision to life and to support the ongoing excellence and growth of our club. Donate today!
