Castlemaine Golf Club is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2024.

The Club is an incorporated association and open to members and the public alike.

The Club has operated on its current land since 1941 and is a 6025m grass green with fairway watering golf course.

It is open to the general public for play and clinics are held regularly for new participants to the game.

Clubhouse facilities are available for hire and incorporate large kitchen and full bar.

There is also limited powered sites for self contained caravans.

Due to a devastating drought in the early 2000's the Clubs natural runoff water supply was lost. This resulted in all greens lost and temporary playing conditions in place for a number of years.

Eventually recylcled water was secured and greens rebuilt and conditions restored to a high level.

However, this was costly and as such a machinery replacement program has been unable to be implemented successfully.

This now necessary given main machinery of greens and fairway mowers need replacing in the shorter term.

As part of the 125th program we are launching this fundraiser to commence the replacement program which will flow on from hopefully a generous boost of cash to replace one piece and allow future Club funds to be set aside for following replacement pieces.
