About the project

Rowing is a sport like no other, using every muscle in the body to its maximum potential. Rowing helps our boys and girls to become disciplined, organised team players who work extremely hard. Rowing builds strength of character. Our rowers understand that there is no one sitting on the bench to replace them - the team is either all in, or all out!

Rowing requires significant resources - boats, oars, tinnies, cox boxes, trailers... the list goes on.  In 2019, The Pennefather Club, in conjunction with the CGS Boat Club and Caulfield Grammar School, aim to raise $30,000 to support the purchase of 2 biorowers – one each for Caulfield and Wheelers Hill Campuses.

With up-to-date equipment, we can ensure our kids have every opportunity to achieve their best.

How can you help?

Supporters have the opportunity to make a tax deductible donation to support the CGS rowing program via the Australian Sports Foundation. All funds raised will go directly towards the purchase of capital items for the rowing program that benefit our boys and girls all year round.

Please make a donation today! Our coaches, our kids and our supporters thank you for your support.

NB: The Boat Club has 24 single sculls and 6 double sculls that are currently unnamed. The first 30 donors of $2,500+ will be offered the opportunity of naming a scull, in recognition of their donation.
