Fundraising Goal: $250,000

make a tax deductible donation

Charlton Park 2020 was an association established to provide for the conduct, encouragement, promotion and administration of sport and recreation at Charlton Park to promote:

  • greater community awareness of, and enjoyment in sport and recreation ;
  • encouragement of sport and recreation at Charlton Park and the development of facilities for such pursuits ;
  • greater use of the facilities as a community hub;
  • community health and welfare through the multi-purpose use of Charlton Park and its facilities; and
  • Charlton Park and its facilities as a hub for regional activities.

The Charlton community has been working since 2006 to develop a multipurpose facility at Charlton Park. We have worked through a drought, a flood in 2011 and now another drought. The facility will provide facilities for all of the users at the park, netball, hockey, football, cricket, Show Society and harness racing, as well as providing a new gymnasium for the community and state of the art social and conference facilities.

This $4.2 million project is “shovel ready” and we're only $250,000 from finally seeing it become a reality. The community has already raised $1 million towards the project, signifying the level of local support for the project. However we still need your help, so please support this vital community project by making a tax deductible donation today!
