With your help, our dream is to revive & update the Recreation Ground’s Clubrooms to ensure they become the vibrant hub of a proud local community.

With the Recreation Ground struggling to run on a tight budget and any profits either distributed to the Sporting Clubs to ensure their survival or spent on repairs & maintenance, the state of the clubrooms has continued to become outdated and irrelevant.

We have for far too long relied on the goodwill of a few unpaid lifelong volunteers to keep the Grounds open, but this generosity will eventually come to an end and without a change in how we operate, the gates will soon close.

The goal is to raise funds for a multi-stage restoration, with the focus being on bringing the Kitchen up to an acceptable standard and improving the appearance of the main Dining Room. The venue will then become attractive to hirers, the community & club members. 

We believe after these changes, the club can generate more revenue and ensure its existence as opposed to the shaky ground we’re on currently.
