It's game on for our planet.

Cricket for Climate is building a collective movement with the sole purpose to lead and support initiatives to drive net-zero in cricket by 2035 and 75% reduction in GHG emissions by 2030.

So far Cricket for Climate has:

● Installed 83kw of solar and batteries in 5 Cricket Clubs across NSW at no cost to

the clubs, and collaborated with Cricket Australia to install a 285kW solar

system at the National Cricket Centre in Brisbane – an expected saving of $1m

in energy costs and removal of close to 8,000 tonnes of carbon over the 20-

year lifespan of the project

● Donated 400 large scale energy efficient fridges to more than 200 cricket clubs

across NSW improving energy efficiency and reducing energy costs

● Held a Cricket for Climate Summit bringing together and activating the

ecosystem of Cricket, leading to action and impact by South Australian Cricket

Association (SACA) and Cricket Australia

● Supported the Smart Energy Council’s Renewable Energy delegation to India to strengthen trade relations for renewable investment in Australia
