Doncaster Hockey Club (DHC) is one of Melbourne’s premier hockey clubs fielding teams at all levels – Juniors, Seniors, and Masters. The club has recently completed a major upgrade to pitch facilities including team dugouts, technical officials’ equipment, and a video scoreboard, maintaining our place as one of Victoria’s premier hockey facilities. Our goals are to grow hockey in the community by providing the best facilities and coaching to create the best hockey players in Victoria. Our success is evident in the numerous regional, state, and even national representatives we have produced over the years.

Growing hockey participation is a key platform for DHC. We aim to have members from all walks of life, and at all stages of life. We take pride in offering hockey at all age levels accommodating anyone who wants to come and play the fantastic sport of hockey.

We are embarking on community recruitment and seek funding to assist. We will be targeting community groups of all ages to grow the sport and our club. We will be reaching out both in person through DHC Club Ambassadors, and through our website and social channels, with a focus on being the most engaged with our community we can be. Growing participation through different game variants, days and times, player groups, are just key example of broadening appeal. Significant time and effort will be spent developing and carrying out these activities at significant cost.
