The floating decking will simplify the emergency services transfer of rescued seafarers, provision is included for emergency service craft docking, and the community access jetties will facilitate boating access to the Taylor St tourism precinct, and serviced support to Southern Ocean sailors/boaters transiting past Esperance between eastern Australia and Western Australia.
