Located on East Point Reserve, FBEC is a horse club for the people of Darwin.

It has stables and riding facilities for the community to use and since it began in 1968, thousands of Darwin residents have enjoyed belonging to the club.

It also has 10 hectares of pasture, fences, sheds and other infrastructure.

A tractor in good working order is essential for the club to be able to maintain and improve its pastures, grounds and infrastructure.

Our current tractor is used almost every day to do many tasks, but it is now

16 years old and needs to be replaced before it is no longer working and

we are left in the lurch.

A new UHI 65 HP tractor with AC cab and 3 attachments 

(4 in 1 bucket, pallet forks, 6’ slasher)  

for $34,990

is 'good value for money' and would meet our needs well.

Our club has won a Minor Community Grant of $15,000

towards the cost of the new tractor and

we have been very busy holding many fundraising events.

Taken together we have almost all the money

we need to purchase the new tractor.

We need only $2100 more to get us ‘over the line'.
