The Hunters Hill Sailing Club building is the geographic and physical heart of “the little club that can”. From the clubhouse our wonderful volunteers and coaches grow and develop sailors from across the Sydney region. The club runs weekly coaching for members and over school holidays has a series of coaching programs to develop existing, or grow new youth sailors. More than 300 sailors were coached last year and over 150 local parents provide volunteer support to this community based club which has been operating for 60 years.

The roof of the 35 year old club house has struggled to withstand the ravages of the recent 3 months of heavy rain and storms experienced in Sydney. Through sound management the club has withstood the COVID19 pandemic and come through with a reduced but sound bank balance to continue coaching our community of sailors. However, the unexpected and rapid deterioration of the club’s roof due to storms has placed an added financial burden on the club, and we would like your support to urgently replace it.
