Like many community sporting clubs, KCC has faced significant financial challenges since returning from the COVID-19 pandemic. Those challenges have been exacerbated by other factors also outside the control of the club, including the unexpected unavailability of our South Oval in 2022-23 and its foreshadowed unavailability in 2024-25 when it undergoes reconstruction by the Boroondara Council. 

The impact of these various challenges shows in reduced sponsorship and other fundraising opportunities for the club and downward pressure on player numbers.

Despite these difficulties, KCC remains committed to being a safe and inclusive club offering a broad range of opportunities, both competitive and social, to everyone in our community to participate in the wonderful world of cricket.  

We need your support to help stabilise our financial position and make our efforts sustainable now and in the long term.
