The Merimbula Tennis Club has been in existence for over 50 years. It has 7 synthetic grass courts and the club aims to promote tennis along with providing the community with a safe and fun environment.

The club conducts regular casual, social, competition, and tournament play (which includes two ranked junior events and one National Ranked Senior event each year). The club also provides an important meeting place for people to enjoy social interaction with other players.

The club also provides the services of a full time coach to further develop the sport in both Merimbula and the wider Bega Valley Region.

The clubs' playing infrastructure is aging and the costs of ongoing maintenance and replacement of courts, nets and fences is climbing. The club is pursuing funding through various grants on offer, but most have a long lead-in time (of 12 months or more) and are not guaranteed of success. Also, a successful grant would likely require a significant co-contribution from the Merimbula Tennis Club.

Money received via tax deductible donations will allow the club to undertake any urgent repairs to allow for the continual use of all tennis courts. The Merimbula Tennis Club Committee would encourage you to consider donating to this fund.
