About the project
As one of the oldest clubs in the northern suburbs, Moreland City Soccer Club is raising funds to ensure it can continue to deliver its community programs, delivered by their small group of dedicated volunteers. Like many clubs it has had its challenges over the last couple of years, with a significant drop in fee revenue due to COVID-19, and now in another lock down!
The club has a long list of capital works programs, and projects it would like to fund - and we need your help!
Lighting Project $50k
We are very fortunate to have been the recipient of a federal grant to upgrade the current lights at Campbell Reserve and are seeking additional funds to add to these capital works.
Ground Redevelopment Contribution $200k
In a joint partnership with the State Government and Moreland City Council, Campbell Reserve was upgraded and we are seeking support our contribution to this project.
Female Change Rooms $23k
We have been successful in securing a grant to redevelop part of our facilities into a dedicated female change room. We however still are short the funds required to complete this project
Canteen upgrade $50k
The canteen and dining facilities require an upgrade, to support the weekly meals provided to our members, players and guests. This is also a value asset and revenue stream in which the club relies on to supplement the community programs we run.
Annual Club Costs $50k
The club incurs numerous annual costs, like our ground leases, apparel, equipment and skills and coaching costs. These are non negotiation and any support we can receive here, can be passed onto members through discounts on fees.
Through the Australian Sports Foundation, any donation over $2 is tax dedctible and would go a long way to asisting our club through these difficult times.
