Situated on the banks of the Swan River, Nedlands Yacht Club is ideally situated to provide world class training opportunities for our growing junior/dinghy fleet. Our original club house, built by volunteers in the 1950’s, has served the club well but our needs have changed, and we have outgrown this building. We need to build a modern facility with child friendly ablutions, universal access toilets and showers, storage, and training rooms to cater for our growing number of juniors, dinghy sailors, school groups and sailing course participants.

The Junior/Dinghy program is one of our strongest drawcards and equips our young people with valuable skills they can use on and off the water. NYC club members have embraced this redevelopment project as an investment in our current and next generation of sailors. Your support will assist us to establish a modern world class facility that will ensure the club’s sustainability into the future through the growth of membership, the increase of training courses we can offer, and catering to the aspirations of more experienced sailors with the Australian Sailing accredited Performance pathways towards National, World and Olympic competition.
