Who Are We?

The Northern Hawks is an inclusive club that represents the Port Stephens / North Newcastle district in the Newcastle Rugby League competition. Our young club has a strong Indigenous heritage and provides a safe place in which our members come together to be the best they can be – as players and as people. We provide players from Port Stephens & North Newcastle the opportunity to represent their district at all levels and provide a safe place for local Indigenous players to compete together week-in, week-out in the Newcastle district competition.

What is our Vision and Purpose? 

Our vision is to become a leading club in the Newcastle Rugby League competition by promoting inclusion for all players and supporters. We also look to unite and represent the Port Stephens and North Newcastle districts in the Newcastle Rugby League competition.

Our purpose is to establish a sustainable district club that is competitive on the field and caring off it, by providing pathways for our district and local indigenous players to the highest levels of rugby league.
