We’re Notorious, the large open co-ed level 6 team from Outlaws Allstars cheerleading club in Bayswater, Victoria. We’ve been fortunate enough to have been awarded a bid to compete at the IASF Cheerleading World Championship in Orlando, Florida.

We have a team of 23 athletes in addition to our coach. In the wake of COVID, the cost to travel overseas have spiralled out of control, and is a substantial obstacle for our team. The 2023 trip to the World Championships is going to cost each athlete well over $6,000 each. With members as young as 14 years old, this is a prohibitively large amount of money that is required from us to compete and showcase our abilities on the global stage.

A short history of Notorious at the IASF Cheerleading World Championships:

• In 2019, Notorious went to Worlds for the first time – and placed 2^nd in our very tough division.
• In 2020, we were not able to compete due to COVID.
• In 2021, we were able to compete virtually, where we placed 1^st in our division. World Champions.

Obviously, competing virtually (over Zoom, essentially), isn’t the same as competing in person. So, we’re back in 2023 with the intention of doing our club and country proud at the ultimate cheerleading competition.
