Royal Brighton Yacht Club has a long and distinguished history going back to 1875, growing from a small lean-to shed on the beach here in Brighton to the large modern facility you see now. Our passion for the sport of sailing has remained undiminished – the style of yachts may have changed, but the wind in our sails, friendly competition and adventurous cruising further afield continue to attract countless Melburnians and visitors to our city on to the water.
