About

Ensuring the Club is Present for the Future is a fundraising program established to ensure and enhance Sale Golf Club’s Gippsland and Victorian reputation and retain and attract new members, as well as enhance use of the facility by the wider public.

The club's development priorities are:

  • Clubhouse-  an updated and relevant kitchen and bar area which better meet occupational health and safety standards and reduce running costs.  In addition there will be some updating to the male and female toilets which are 40 years old.  This will enable the Club to better market itself as a venue for other activities apart from golf-related ones.
  • Bunker renewal-  currently there are 54 bunkers on the course which distinguishes Sale from many other clubs in the Eastern Region and develops players skills and abilities to play at higher ranked course.  There is work to be undertaken to ensure these bunkers are maintained to the club's high standards.
  • Irrigation redevelopment and possible conversion of mainly kikuyu grass to cooch- both these actions will reduce use of valuable resources in water, electricity and workers and volunteers time, making the course more sustainable.

Please support these vital club projects by making a tax deductible donation today!
