South East Queensland Wheelchair Rugby League is a non for profit organisation delivering a wheelchair based sport to the South East Queensland community. We strive to change the narrative of disabilities through the delivery of the most inclusive sport in the world. Wheelchair Rugby League is the inclusive variation of the running game which allows people with disabilities to compete alongside and against people without disabilities. This includes family members and friends being able to play with and against loved ones on the same court.  

The inclusiveness of our sport allows people with and without a disability to play from local competitions right through to international representation at the wheelchair rugby league world cup. SEQWRL aspires to provide an inclusive recreational activity to promote fun, fitness and self-development while fostering good sportsmanship in a safe and positive environment. The emphasis is on boosting the participation, health and wellbeing of individuals, and their personal performance, social interaction and self-esteem. SEQWRL aims to provide more opportunities for young people across SEQ to play and be involved in the sport.
