Stirling Oval in the Adelaide Hills was bequeathed to the Community in the 1930s by J & AG Johnston Ltd. In the original plans for the Oval, a pavilion was to be built at the top of the grand staircase. The staircase was completed but with the advent of the Second World War the pavilion was never built. 85 years on, as part of an upgrade to the whole Stirling Oval precinct, the Stirling Pavilion Foundation has been created to finish the original plan. The Pavilion would be of great benefit to the whole community, with sports, functions, art shows, fitness activities, birthday parties and even weddings could be held at the Pavilion. The ground could serve as a hub for girls cricket in the Hills. All donations will be recognised in the donation book, with donations of $5000 and above to be captured on an honour board within the new facility.
Through our partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation any donation over $2 is tax deductible, and would be greatly appreciated.
