The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania

The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania

About

The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania conducts a range of weekly off-the-beach and trailer-able yacht events. The Club's launching ramp and associated infrastructure is dated and no longer meets the amenity and safety needs of members.

Our fundraising plan is to secure sufficient donations to fund the majority of the project to update the launching ramp and install a pontoon to assist participants to board and alight from their boats in a safe manner.

The ramp will be used to launch and retrieve rescue craft, members' powerboats and trailerable sailing boats. The refurbished surface will extend further into the water to allow boats requiring more depth to launch at any state of the tide, removing a limitation to the Club's rescue capacity.

Please make a tax deductible donation today to see this much needed project come to fruition.
