Visit websiteThe Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania is currently seeking contributions to acquire a new 5.5-metre Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) to replace our aging Rescue Boat, affectionately known as "Lewis." After nearly three decades of dedicated service, it's time to modernise our fleet to ensure the continued safety and efficiency of our sailing activities.
The current RIB serves multiple crucial roles within our sailing fleet, including rescue operations, training sessions, and providing essential support during events like the annual Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race by assisting with marshaling and berth management.
Securing this new RIB will enhance our capabilities and enable us to better support the training and instructional programs offered to both RYCT Club members and the wider Hobart community.
