SUPPORT OUR OVER 40's MEN'S CRICKET TEAM raise $50,000 to represent Australia in Cape Town

To represent Australia in Cricket at a World Cup is the ultimate dream for many players. The International Masters Cricket (IMC) World Cup is held bi-annually, which provides an opportunity for the best Over 40's cricketers to represent Australia.

Australia competes in Veterans cricket men's World Cups at Over 40, Over 50, Over 60 & Over 70 age levels. 

All players are amateur and receive little support from Cricket Australia despite being a full affiliate of Cricket Australia.

To reach the World Cup, all players self-fund their campaign to participate. Our players love our game and will do anything to pull on an Australian Cap and Uniform but making dreams come true can be very costly and can put stress on families. 

Veterans Cricket is the fastest growing sector of Cricket in Australia. At this elite level players have played cricket for most of their lives but due to family, work and opportunities never made it to the Test team.

At the grass roots level, it enables those who played a little or not at all to get back in touch with our National game.

At all levels it is bringing thousands of Australian Men and Women back to the great outdoors for both physical exercise and mental health benefits. Sometime Veterans cricket is referred to as "A men's shed with balls"!

As Veterans Cricket grows in Australia, so hopefully too will the funding to send teams to tournaments and grow the grassroots level of the game. For now, our players dearly need your support to realise their potential and personal goals.

For every $650 donated, it will cover the cost of one player national team uniform.

For every $1000 donated, it will cover the cost of one players accommodation cost in Cape Town.
