The sport of rowing develops fitness, encourages a healthy lifestyle, creates lasting friendships, and is conducted in a scenic environment. The combination of these qualities often creates a strong passion for the sport and loyalty to the club. Many members who develop a passion for the sport want to give back to the sport financially.

The club intends to invite both past and present members who have developed this passion to donate funds to the club to assist in funding the acquisition of new boats.
