Founded in 2019 through the combination of two AVL clubs, the Melbourne Vipers became Volleyball Victoria's senior state representative team in the National League. In their first year of play, the Vipers took home the Women's Gold medal and the Men's Bronze medal in a stellar start for the club. The following season, the Women's team medalled again bringing home a Bronze.

In 2023, the Vipers will be competing in the inaugural season of the Australian Volleyball Super League - a fast-paced, high impact version of the game designed for mass appeal and a television audience.

But the Vipers need your help!

Volleyball in Australia, for the most part is player funded, including at an elite national level. While Volleyball Victoria has historically subsidized these teams directly, VV want to ensure player contributions are as low as possible and have brought forward several initiatives aimed at bringing contribution down even further!

Player costs for competing in the Super League include flights, accommodation, meals, ground transport, high performance equipment, training and home round venue costs.

We are seeking your help to support the male and female Melbourne Vipers athletes to reduce their out of pocket expenses, currently set at $1,000 per player. Every dollar helps!
