Walford’s rowing program has a reputation both locally and internationally for quality, personal development and outcomes. Students are provided with a pathway to achieve at their highest level, with many students going on to represent the State. The First VIII Crews have been awarded the Australian Schoolgirl Eight and the Florence Eaton Cup more times than any school in South Australia. The dedicated Rowing Parent Committee and wider rowing parent community support and celebrate our rowers.

Walford has partnered with the Australian Sports Foundation to raise funds for the rowing program. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.

All funds raised will assist in the purchase of equipment for and resourcing of the rowing program (e.g. boats, oars, cox boxes, radios, coach bikes).
