The Warrnambool Lawn Tennis Club is a community based tennis club requesting donations from Members, visitors to the Club and the general public to maintain and upgrade the facilities of 36 grass, 6 porous and 2 hard courts. The annual cost of this maintenance is over $110,000. Over recent years the Club has replaced fencing, renewed the Clubhouse roof and installed irrigation to some of the grass courts. More shade shelter is urgently needed for sun protection over the summer months for players and spectators.

While the WLTC is situated on land managed by the local council, there is no council contribution to the operating costs of the club.
