We are expecting the cost of the damage to be quite extensive, although at present we will not understand the true extent of damage until it is safe to re-enter the club. Currently the only access into the club is with our local council’s permission, until the area can be completely and thoroughly assessed. 

We have over 50 members and hold many events, attracting people from across Australia. We are a lucky club with the location being on two magnificent rivers, the Darling and the Murray. Although we have not been on the water since September, the rivers provide many options for time out in a boat. Which we are all missing greatly.

Our club aims to provide equity for everyone who uses our facility, we want people to enjoy their experience, but also feel safe. Social and emotional wellbeing is an important focus for our club, and we believe the support and connections made through the club provide people with benefits that extend beyond participating in physical activity.

For now the plan to rebuild our club needs your support. Any contribution is warmly welcomed.
