Before you apply for G4G™ you must read our guidelines, these answer all questions as well as giving some helpful tips on what we’re looking for in applications.
Copy and paste your answers into a word document as you go. This way, if you run into any problems during your application, you won’t need to start again – just simply copy and paste the answers back into the application form.
We believe that every Aussie should be given the chance to get involved in sports.
This is because we are passionate believers in the benefits of community-based sports participation such as social inclusion, healthier lifestyles and the development of teamwork and leadership skills.
Our G4G™grants are awarded to projects that use sport to promote social inclusion amongst all genders, cultures, ages and abilities.
To be eligible for a grant your organisation must:
We are planning to have the grant round open for four weeks, you’ll be able to save and continue later when you’re filling out your application so you will have plenty of time to perfect your submission!
We are estimating that it will take about a month to read and assess all applications. Following this, the successful applicants will be contacted and the funds granted to your nominated bank accounts.
One of the conditions of the grant is that you send us pics and stories updating us on how your sports project is going – we can use these on our website and socials!
Sport4Everyone grant round is open on March 28th 2019 and will close at midday on 24th April 2019
This program will be supported through the funds raised by the Prime Ministers Sporting Oration an event held on 21 November 2018.
IMPORTANT: To apply for a grant in this round, Applicants must be registered with the Australian Sports Foundation’s Fundraising4Sport program. Applications can take up to two business days to be approved and a member number to be created. Please ensure you have submitted your Fundraising4Sport application prior to 18th of April or you may not be eligible to apply for the Sport4Everyone grant.
The Prime Ministers’ Sporting Oration chose to focus on four key cause areas and funding for Sport4Everyone will be granted to programs that look to address one or more of the following areas:
