ABOUT Abbie Mortimer
**Support Abbie Mortimer – Australian Ninja & OCR Athlete**
Abbie Mortimer is a dedicated 17-year-old athlete who has spent the past 10 years training and competing in ninja, alongside 7 years competing in obstacle course racing (OCR). Her commitment, resilience, and passion for her sport have taken her across Australia and around the world, proudly representing both NSW and Australia.
Abbie’s international competition experience includes competing in the UNAA World Championships in America (2024) and the Fiji Spartan events in 2023 and 2024. Within Australia, she has competed at national level events in Victoria, Western Australia, and Queensland, consistently achieving podium finishes across both ninja and OCR competitions.
In 2026, Abbie reached a major milestone in her athletic career, competing at the OCR World Championships in Queensland where she became the Junior 80m World Champion—an incredible achievement that reflects years of hard work and determination.
Looking ahead, Abbie is focused on continuing her development and experience in both ninja and OCR. Over the next year, she plans to compete across multiple states and internationally, with goals of participating in upcoming world championships and major events in Tasmania, America, Japan, China, and beyond.
However, competing at this level comes with significant financial challenges. Travel costs, event entry fees, and accommodation expenses quickly add up. As a single-income family with a special needs sibling, we currently fund Abbie’s competitions by restoring and selling furniture to help provide her with these opportunities.
Any support would mean the world to Abbie and our family. Your contribution will directly help her continue training, competing, and representing Australia on the world stage. Abbie trains multiple times each week with unwavering dedication, and with your help, she can continue to chase her dreams and achieve even greater success.
Thank you for supporting Abbie’s journey.
