ABOUT Abi Harrigan

Hi, I’m Abi Harrigan, an Australian freestyle skier with a passion for pushing limits and representing my country on the world stage. I competed at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, but just a week before leaving for China, I was hit by another skier and broke my leg. It happened in Livigno — which, ironically, is one of the venues for the 2026 Games. That injury turned my Olympic dream into a heartbreak, but it’s also fueled my determination to come back stronger.

For the past 12 months, I’ve been training harder than ever, with my sights firmly set on redemption at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. This past Northern Hemisphere season was my best yet — I made finals in two World Cups and finished second at the Tignes World Cup. The momentum is real, and I’m more motivated than ever to take it all the way to Italy.

When I’m back home in Jindabyne, I juggle full-time training with two (sometimes three) jobs to support my dream. I work as a trampoline coach at the NSW Snowsports Training Centre, which I absolutely love — it gives me a chance to give back, share the stoke, and hopefully inspire the next generation of Aussie snow athletes.

The next few months are packed with travel, training, and competition as I build toward 2026. It’s an exciting (and expensive) road ahead, and every bit of support helps me get one step closer to that Olympic dream. Thank you so much for being part of the journey — let’s do this together!
