I'm 22 years old and have been outrigger canoe racing for 10 years. I have competed at most International Vaa Federation World championships since 2016. This year I qualified for the individual Open Women's V1 500m sprint event at the World Championships in August, and my club team, Mooloolaba OCC Open Women also qualified to contest the World Club racing event. I'm fundraising to assist with training, travel and accommodation costs associated with this campaign. I'm also assisting with coaching and training the Australian 19U elite junior women's team. My training has already commenced, and I'll be competing at the Takapuna Cup in Auckland next month, then National Marathon Championships is Coffs Harbour in May. I'm passionate about paddling, and the camaraderie that competing at National and International level brings.
