The "Renaissance Warrior"
Aerynn has been nicknamed the “Renaissance Warrior” because her life is a balance of distinct, intense passions. When she is not on the shooting line, she is a disciplined Suzuki Method violin student, an undefeated school debater, and a lead actress in musical theatre.
She brings the same mindset to every discipline: Focus. Resilience. Process.
Defying the Odds
Aerynn was born with microtia and is profoundly deaf in her right ear. While some might see this as a limitation in a balance‑based sport like archery, she sees it as her superpower. It has taught her to work harder, listen closer, and focus deeper than anyone else on the field.
That grit carried her from her first arrows all the way to the Trans‑Tasman Challenge in New Zealand, where she fought through injury to win a Bronze Medal for Australia.
Why She Needs Your Support
Barebow archery is a non‑Olympic discipline, which means there is no government funding for athletes like Aerynn. Every arrow, every flight, and every hour of coaching is 100% self‑funded.
Her long‑term goals include continued State Team representation, National Ranking events, and eventually competing at the World Field Championships and the Lancaster Classic — the world’s premier barebow tournaments.
By supporting this page, you aren’t just funding a trip — you are investing in a young athlete determined to prove that with enough hard work, no target is out of reach.
Thank you for being part of her team.

Your Impact: Fueling the Journey
As a self-funded athlete in a non-Olympic discipline, every contribution directly clears a hurdle from Aerynn's path. Here is how your support translates into action on the field:
- $50: Covers the entry fee for a local Qualifying Ranking Event (QRE), a Grand Prix Event, or a session of high-performance coaching.
- $100: Funds one critical physiotherapy or conditioning session to keep her injury-free.
- $250: Purchases a dozen high-performance competition arrows (essential consumable gear).
- $500: Covers the return flights for one interstate National Ranking event.
- $1,000: Funds a full week of accommodation for a National Championship campaign.
