    ABOUT Alba Ng

    Woollahra, NSW

Hi! I’m Alba Ng. I'm a 12 year old ice hockey player from Sydney and I have been playing hockey for about six years.

I'm proud to be the only girl selected in the Ice Crocs team. We are the only team from Australia, competing in the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with over 120 teams from countries all around the world. There is a very strict age limit for the tournament, so this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

In Australia, ice hockey is still a minority and self-funded sport, and particularly challenging for girls. Playing in this tournament requires a lot of money (around $6,000) because I will have to pay for food, travel, accommodation, ice time, tournament fees and uniform for this tournament. I would really appreciate any support available for this journey, any contribution no matter how big or small can help me and will make such a difference.

Thank you for helping me chase my dream and for supporting girls in a male-dominated sport like ice hockey.
