Help Me Represent Australia on the World Stage! 

Hi everyone,

My name is Alex Harrison, and I’m a passionate High Jumper from Coffs Harbour on the Mid North Coast of NSW. I’m incredibly proud and excited to share that I’ve been selected to represent Australia on two international teams in the coming months:

• Australian U23 Tour to Taiwan – June 2025
• World University Games in Germany – July 2025

These are amazing opportunities to compete at high-profile international events and help me get a step closer to my ultimate dream of representing Australia at the 2032 Olympics.

However, with these opportunities come significant costs — including airfares, accommodation, training expenses, and team levies. The World University Games levy alone is $4,500, which is a major financial challenge as a full-time student training five days a week.

That’s why I’m reaching out to the community for support.

Your donation, no matter the size, would mean the world to me. It would ease the financial pressure, reduce the stress, and allow me to fully focus on training and competing — giving me the best chance to perform at my peak in the green and gold.

A Little About Me

I started athletics at age 5 and it has brought me to where I am today. I trained in Coffs Harbour with Michele Hurcum and Glenn Thacker until I was 18, then moved to Sydney to study at Sydney Uni. I now train on the Central Coast with my coach Matthew Horsnell.

I’ve been fortunate to represent Australia in the U20 Oceania Team for High Jump in 2023 and 2024, and currently hold a personal best of 1.85m, ranking me #6 in Australia for Open Women’s High Jump.
