My name is Alexis “Lexy” Morey, I’m 14 years old and passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

I’ve been training for over five years at Border Grappling Club in Albury Wodonga, and I am a 4 stripe orange belt. I am currently ranked:

#1 in Oceania in my division for Grappling Industries

#3 in the World in my division for Grappling Industries

I’ve built a competition record of 50 wins, including a streak of 30 consecutive victories, and I haven’t lost a match in over two years.

I regularly challenge myself by competing above my age and weight divisions, and have even competed and won in the adult blue belt division.

My Goal is to compete in more interstate tournaments leading into major international Jiu-Jitsu tournaments.

Competing provides me with incredible opportunities to test myself against the best in the World, gain valuable experience, and continue building towards my dream of becoming a World Champion.

However, travelling interstate/overseas for competitions is expensive. Funds raised will go directly toward:

• Flights and travel costs
• Accommodation during tournaments
• Competition entry fees
• Nutrition and athlete support
