After an outstanding season representing Logan Thunder, Amaia Taylor and her team have earned the State Championship title in Cairns and secured the #1 ranking in Queensland! With unwavering dedication—attending every training session and extra practice—Amaia has truly stood out on the court.

Amaia’s talent has also been recognized beyond club level: she’s been selected for the Queensland Future Development Program (FDP), part of Basketball Queensland’s elite pipeline for players aged 12–14, focusing on advanced skill-building, the state’s style of play, and preparation for higher-level competition.

Amaia’s journey doesn’t stop there. She also represented Metropolitan East at the QRSS 13–16 yrs Basketball State Championship, held at the Mackay Multi‑Sports Stadium from June 5–8, 2025, all at just 12 years old.

Now, Amaia has earned a spot at the Foot Locker U14 Club Championship in Perth, Western Australia, from September 27 to October 3, 2025. To help her take this next leap, we’re raising funds for travel, accommodation, meals, and tournament fees.
