Hi, my name is Amelia, I am a motivated and hard-working Australian female goaltender who has represented my country at U18 World Championships and my state (South Australia) at open women’s level (National Championships). I boarded at Lovell Academy in Rockland, MA, USA in 2024-25 to both continue my development as well as to see if I could get selected to play Ice Hockey at College Level. My hard work to date has paid off, as I was awarded the Most Improved at Lovell Academy and accepted an offer to play and study with Buffalo State University from 2025-26. 

Why support me? I believe the qualities that best compliment my goaltending are my work ethic, my coachability. and my genuine desire to be the best version of myself. I'm not shy of hard work, and I am able to reset after a setback and find another way to achieve the end goal (with the assistance of a coach/mentor). However, I am more than 'just a goaltender', my work ethic and desire to be the best version of myself extends to my studies and my social life. I am there for my team and my friends, and while I love winning, I understand the grind required to put together a winning tournament/season. Your support will help me to continue to train and compete at the highest level.

My reason for moving to the USA were to play the game I love at the highest level I can, and I also want to experience the US College environment - two opportunities which aren't available to me in Australia. Now I am here, I want to maximise the opportunities I have through playing and studying with the goal of seeing how far I can continue to grow and go.
