A Dream in Boots: Help Me Take My Shot

Hi, I’m a 10-year-old boy with a big dream—and a pretty powerful shot to match.

Ever since I was five, football hasn’t just been a game to me… it’s been everything. While most kids were figuring out what they liked, I already knew: give me a ball, a field, and I’m happy. From early mornings to muddy afternoons, I’ve been chasing this dream with determination, laughter, and a little bit of cheeky sarcasm along the way.

Off the field, I’m known for being fun, playful, and quick with a joke. But step onto the pitch, and it’s a different story—I’m focused, locked in, and ready to give it my all. I play centre midfield, controlling the game, creating opportunities, and when the chance comes… I’ve got no problems finding the back of the net myself.

Now, something incredible has happened.

I’ve been selected to represent Australia on the international stage in futsal in China this November, and another opportunity in Manchester, England this October following a successful trial with the Global Football Network. For me, this isn’t just exciting—it’s a chance to grow, to challenge myself, and to take one step closer to my dream of becoming a professional footballer.

But dreams like this don’t happen alone.
