ABOUT Angus Lindgren
Support My Journey in the NorAm Cup
Hello, my name is Angus Lindgren. I am a 16-year-old Australian snowboard athlete currently competing in both Snowboard Cross (SBX) and Alpine events (Parallel Giant Slalom – PGS, and Parallel Slalom – PSL) on the NorAm Cup circuit.
To pursue my development at an international level, I divide my seasons between Australia and Canada. During the Australian winter, I live and train in my hometown of Jindabyne, NSW. In the Northern Hemisphere winter, I am based in Silver Star Mountain Resort in British Columbia, Canada, where I train and compete regularly. I also attend additional training camps throughout the year in South America and Europe to further develop my skills and gain international race experience.
Outside of snowboarding and training, I am passionate about ice hockey and enjoy cycling and spending time in the gym to support my athletic performance.
Looking ahead to the 2026/2027 Northern Hemisphere season, I plan to compete across Canada and the United States in both Snowboard Cross (SBX) and Alpine disciplines (PGS/PSL) on the NorAm Cup circuit. My goal is to achieve a Top-20 overall ranking in both disciplines, and become the first Australian athlete to qualify for the Junior World Championships in both SBX and Alpine snowboard events.
Competing at this level requires significant travel, training, and competition expenses. I am currently seeking supporters and sponsors who would be willing to assist with the costs of my upcoming season. Any contribution—large or small—would make a meaningful difference and help me continue pursuing my goals on the international stage.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey and for considering supporting my snowboarding career.
