Help Me Represent Australia in Athletics

Hi, my name is Annisha Reader, and I’m a 16-year-old athlete from NSW with a dream of one day representing Australia on the world stage in Discus or Hammer Throw.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked incredibly hard to develop my skills and compete at the highest level I can. Some of my achievements so far include:

• 2021 Little Athletics NSW State Record – Discus 
• 2023 Australian Junior Athletics Championships – Gold (Discus), Bronze (Hammer Throw) 
• 2023 Australian All Schools Athletics Championships – Gold (Discus) 
• 2023 Selected to represent NSW at the Australian Little Athletics Championships – Silver (Discus) 
• 2024 Selected to represent NSW at the Australian Little Athletics Championships – Gold & Meet Record (Discus) 
• 2025 Australian Junior Athletics Championships – Bronze (Hammer Throw)
• 2025 Australian All Schools Athletics Championships – Gold (Hammer Throw).
• 2026 Australian Junior Athletics Championships Brisbane - Gold (Hammer Throw), Silver (Discus).

Competing in athletics comes with significant costs, and it places a major financial commitment on my family. These expenses include team levies, uniforms, travel, accommodation, ongoing professional coaching, throwing shoes (which I wear out frequently and need to replace), and essential equipment.

I’m fundraising to help ease this financial pressure so I can focus on training and performing at my best throughout the season.
