April has qualified to represent Our Country AUSTRALIA at the UCI BMX World Championships to be held in Brisbane this July — a dream she has had since she first began BMX racing at just 2 years old.

At just 13 years of age, this is an incredible achievement and a true reflection of April’s hard work, determination, & dedication to the sport over the last 11 years. BMX has been a huge part of her life, and she has trained tirelessly through rain, hail, or shine, never giving up on her goals.

April’s love for BMX racing is reflected in her ongoing commitment to training, competing, and constantly pushing herself to improve. She gives everything she has to the sport and has shown amazing resilience, sportsmanship, and passion along the way. To represent Australia is a great honour for her.

As many people know, BMX racing is largely a self-funded sport, where riders and families are responsible for covering costs such as:

* Competition entry fees

* Airfares and travel expenses

* Accommodation

* Equipment and bike maintenance

* Coaching and training costs

* Uniforms and race gear

Competing at the World Championships is an amazing opportunity for April, but the financial costs involved are significant for our single parent family to manage alone, this is why we are reaching out to businesses for Sponsorship.
