Hi! My name is April Kat, and I am a Sprint Track Cyclist from Adelaide, South Australia and an athlete for the South Australian Sports Institute.

    ABOUT April Kat

    Adelaide, SA

    I am currently the Junior SA State Champion in the Sprint and Keirin, National Champion in the Team Sprint, and a silver medalist at the Oceania Championships in the Sprint, Keirin and Team Sprint. I won gold in the U19 UCI Keirin and silver in the Sprint at the 2025 Austral in December.


    Recently, I have been selected to represent Australia at the 2026 UCI Track World Championships, to be held in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, from the 19th to the 23rd of August as a part of the Junior Women's Sprint Team. I am beyond grateful to have the honour of representing my country on the world stage.


    After many years of hard work, determination and perseverance, I am so excited to finally see the goals I set be achieved. I aim to be a positive role model on and off the bike, and as an athlete, I hope to inspire young girls coming into the sport that no goal is out of reach.


    As this is a self-funded trip, any support you can offer will help my campaign and get me closer to the start line in Zolder. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you for believing in me!
