April, 11, has been cheering with Rebel 4orce Mount Barker for the past five years. Her dedication, skill, and passion for cheerleading have led to an incredible opportunity: she has been selected for Team Australia – Youth All Girl to compete at the ICU World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida in April 2026.

Cheerleading is more than a sport for April — it’s a way for her to build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and a sense of community. Competing at the world championships is the highest level of national representation in cheerleading, recognised by the International Olympic Committee, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for any young athlete.

Participation requires significant self-funded expenses, including travel, accommodation, uniforms, training, and team fees. April balances her sport with school at St Francis de Sales College, and she is excited to continue developing both academically and athletically. Every contribution, big or small, helps make this dream a reality and supports her journey to achieve excellence in her sport.
