My name is Archer Knott, I have been a competitive swimmer for the past 5 years. I swim locally on the Sunshine Coast for the Flinders Phoenix swim Club; I go to my local State High school in Maroochydore and represent my school on a regular basis in all sports. I train 7 times a week and wake up at 4.20am for training on most school mornings.

I recently represented the Sunshine Coast Region at the Queensland Schools Swimming Championships; I had a highly successful 3 days and achieved 6 silvers and 1 Gold medal. I placed 1st in the 50 Backstroke, 2nd in the 100 Backstroke, 2nd in 200 Backstroke, 2nd 100 Fly, 2nd 200 Fly, 2nd in 200 Medley and 2nd in the medley relay with my Sunshine Coast teammates. I was then selected to represent Qld Schools at the National Schools Swimming championships in Melbourne during the month of July this year.
