The Season Almost Ended Before It Began.

Round one of the Excel Cup 3E Production Series was supposed to kick off 15-year-old Ashleigh Cove’s most exciting season. But just laps into the second night race of the opening round, a serious on-track accident nearly wrote off her race car—and her season.

The unfortunate incident saw Ashleigh extracted by racing medical team and off to hospital whilst her siblings witnessing this on track incident unfold in front of them.

For most 15-year-olds, that would have been the end.

For Ashleigh, it was just the start of the comeback.

Meet Ashleigh Cove

Ashleigh is one of the youngest—and boldest—female racers in Circuit Racing Australia. Racing alongside her brother and sister, motorsport runs in her blood. She’s spent years training and preparing to carve her name into circuit racing and was recently via special invitation,invited to race in the Improved Production Series class, a rare opportunity for someone her age.

She’s not just fast. She’s fearless, focused, and fiercely competitive.
