In March this year Ash and Imogen set their sights on qualifying for the Youth Worlds in the 420 class. They hadn't sailed together before so this was going to be a big challenge! They worked hard training at Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club and headed to Adelaide in September for the selection event where they finished 2nd overall and 1st girl boat. They achieved the challenge they had set, next stop Portugal.

With only 8 weeks between selection and the Youth Worlds the girls are working hard on and off the water, navigating training, year 12 ATAR and Uni exams and work. The combined cost of this event is $22,000+ Any contribution big or small will go a long way to helping the achieve their dreams!
